  • Doctoral Projects and Themes: Provide information about your doctoral project, with answers ranging from 200 to 400 words.

  • Language Skills, Post-secondary Education, Achievements and Experience: Provide information about your language skills, education, achievements, publications, conferences, extracurricular and volunteer activities, and work experience.
  • Upload Transcripts: Upload transcripts for all your post-secondary education, except for information related to CEGEP in Quebec if you attended.
  • Read and understand the Foundation’s policies: Acknowledge that you have read and understood the Foundation’s key policies available on their website.
  1. Get recommendations: After submitting your application form, enter the name and email address of your referees. They will then receive an email asking them to complete a predetermined referral form directly on the Foundation’s application portal. Referees must answer narrative questions and provide numerical evaluations.
  2. PETF selection process: All eligible candidates who submit a complete application by the deadline, which is usually in December each year, will go through a thorough selection process. Shortlisted candidates (Round One) will be contacted in February of the following year and invited to group interviews. Finalists (Round Two) will then be invited to individual interviews with members of the ANRC in March.
