• Undergraduate academic requirements:

• Audition, portfolio (for composition students), and letters of reference are required for admission.
• You are encouraged to take related courses in Language Arts, Second Languages, and Visual and Performing Arts during your junior and senior years.
• In the past, an 85% average on India’s grading scale was required.

• Postgraduate academic requirements:

• Completion of a Bachelor’s degree + Master’s degree or M.Phil. The degree to be eligible for the Doctoral degree program.
• Audition, portfolio (for students in composition), and letters of reference are required for admission.
• A 4-year degree in a relevant field is typically required from most institutions.
• 3-year degrees are accepted if:

• Your overall standing in the degree is 1st Class/Division and the awarding institutions have been accredited by India’s National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of A or better
• OR if the awarding institution is designated an Institution of National Importance, such as the Indian Institute of Technology.

• English proficiency requirements: you can prove your English proficiency in one of the following ways:

• CBSE or CISCE: you have achieved a minimum grade of 75% (Indian grading scale) on your senior English subject.
• IELTS (Academic): overall 6.5, with no part less than 6.0.
• TOEFL: Overall 90, Reading 22, Listening 22, Writing 21, Speaking 21
